The Difference Between Air Cooled Chiller And Water Cooled Chiller

The air cooled industrial chiller uses shell tube evaporator to heat exchange water with refrigerant. After the cooling water is cooled and cold water is generated by the cooling water, the heat is brought to the fin condenser by the compressor, and then the heat is lost to the outside air (air cooling) by the cooling fan.
Water cooled industrial chiller:
Water cooled industrial water chiller uses shell tube evaporator to heat exchange water and refrigerant. After the cooling water is cooled and cold water is generated by the cooling water, the heat is brought to shell tube condenser by compressor. The heat exchange is carried out by the refrigerant and water, which will lead the heat out of the external cooling tower through the water pipe after heat absorption and heat absorption (water cooling).
Difference between air cooled water chiller and water-cooled water chiller:
The difference between air-cooled industrial chiller and water-cooled industrial chiller is mainly due to the difference of condenser. The air-cooled industrial chiller adopts fan as the heat dissipation. Usually, fin condenser is used. Fins refer to aluminum plates. The parts that need heat exchange are installed with aluminum plates to achieve high efficiency heat dissipation. Then, hot air is extracted by strong fans. Unlike air-water cooling, the condenser of water-cooled industrial water chiller mainly takes away heat by circulating cooling water. Therefore, the condenser of water-cooled water cooler is also commonly called water cannon.
