The Drift eliminator is designed to capture large water droplets caught from the cooling tower air stream. This drift eliminators could prevent the water droplets and mist escaping from the cooling tower. The drift eliminators act as changing the droplets direction and losing velocity at impact on the wave blades and fall back into the cooling tower.
Latino’s drift eliminators achieve maximum drift removal efficiency in both counter-flow and cross-flow tower applications. Eliminators do this by creating the droplets to alter their course and lose speed on the blade walls and descend back into the tower. Effective drift eliminators will keep float losses to less than .001% of the re-flowing water rate.
